It look like your DBA used EM to invoke Auto SQL Tuning Task.

You or your DBA should use guide-line in 1344499.1 (Metalink)

or

drop this task:

SELECT  task_name, status
FROM    DBA_ADVISOR_TASKS
WHERE   task_name LIKE '%SYS_AUTO_SQL_TUNING_TASK%';

exec DBMS_SQLTUNE.DROP_TUNING_TASK('SYS_AUTO_SQL_TUNING_TASK');

Hi Michel,

My opinion is 'yes' if we drop the task we wont receive this message.
But is there any impact to database if i drop the task ?

Is there a way to find out who has invoked it ?

Most probably OP's DBA. Also, OEM is not meant for developers.

If your aim is to find the name behind the responsible person, I doubt if that would help resolving any issues other than a big time chance to blame that DBA.

Actually it is not from IP as OP has used (many) different IPs along the time (almost 8 years). Wink
It is most of the time by OP himself who confuses his accounts and answers to one question we asked him with another account or other blunders like that (and also comparing questions and accounts in different forum).

I think, but this is just my opinion, "stupidity" is not a sufficient reason to be banned. Smile

Moderators,

For your information.If you want to share any jokes,or want to discuss something about others my thread is not the right place to do so.
There is a forum called 'TEST' in orafaq where you could discuss whatever topic you want to ,crack jokes on others or shares some good jokes etc..

This is my humble request.

The purpose i open a thread is to clarify my doubts on issues i face in database .I hope i am clear for you all.

Regards,
Srini
