Hi,

This is question is related to Multi-Tenancy, whether Multi-tenancy is supported by Oracle 11g R2 ?

The Application requirement is to be able to accommodate new Customers in a Muli-tenant approach.

We were planning to have a Single DB with Schemas and inside the Schema the Tables will be replicated for 'N' number of Customers.

I.e, User information of Client A and Client B will be in Tables USER_DATA_A and USER_DATA_B tables respectively,
Similiar for other Data objects.

I think this is the only way to achieve multi-tenancy in Oracle 11g R2 as Multi-tenancy Pluggable databases is introduced from Oracle 12 C only.

Kindly advise if this a good approach as we are limited to Oracle 11g R2. Or suggest any better approach to achieve multi-tenancy in Oracle 11g R2.

Scope is also limited to consider ORACLE RAC as the Oracle Database will be hosted in a Cloud.

Thanks,
Ninan
